About The Position
The Part-Time Teller handles customer payments and receipts, maintains and balances a cash drawer, and processes customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. The role requires a friendly, outgoing, customer-focused person who can multitask and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. The teller follows security and compliance procedures, maintains familiarity with bank products and services, and identifies opportunities to offer additional products when customer needs arise.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Previous banking experience.
- Previous cash handling experience.
Responsibilities
- Embrace the Legacy culture and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
- Perform teller duties and assist customers with their needs.
- Verify and balance the assigned cash drawer daily while following the teller outage policy.
- Receive and process customer teller transactions accurately and promptly.
- Maintain basic knowledge of bank products and services.
- Follow security and compliance procedures daily.
- Recognize opportunities to sell additional bank products to customers and non-customers as transactions are processed and needs are identified.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
