About The Position

The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with branch activities, including day-to-day client-facing services and transaction processing, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The role aims to provide high-quality customer service and help the branch generate revenue by delivering optimal solutions. The position is part-time, for 20 hours, at Citi’s Armonk branch.

Requirements

• Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
• Money handling experience.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Citi clients and provide a positive first impression through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Perform efficient and accurate banking transactions, including managing the branch cash supply, processing incoming and outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining branch vault cash.
• Identify opportunities to refer clients to new products and services based on their financial goals.
• Educate clients about Citi’s digital and self-service opportunities.
• Follow bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to protect client and bank assets.
• Address client needs and manage client issues or concerns, escalating them as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of client accounts and new and existing products and services.
• Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, protect the firm’s reputation and assets, comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies, exercise sound ethical judgment, and transparently escalate, manage, and report control issues.
• Meet specific metrics related to fulfilling client needs and providing an exceptional client experience.
