About The Position

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a part-time, 20-hour Teller (Client Service Associate) for its Sunset branch in Henderson, Nevada. The role is responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. The Teller identifies and addresses client needs by providing banking services, resolves client problems directly or by referring them to other branch or bank resources, and identifies opportunities to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs. The position also performs other duties as assigned.

The branch is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and a flexible schedule within those hours is required. The pay range is $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within the branch hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, making money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve client problems through direct action or referral to other branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring clients’ needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
