About The Position

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a part-time Teller (Client Service Associate) for its Henderson Heights branch in Henderson, Nevada. This role processes client transactions accurately and in accordance with bank policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. The Teller identifies and addresses client needs, resolves problems, and explores opportunities to recommend relevant bank products and services. The position is 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule required within the branch's Monday–Friday hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The advertised pay range is $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within the branch hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address client needs by providing services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, transferring money, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve client problems directly or refer clients to other branch or bank resources.
• Explore client needs to identify and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
