Teller (Member Service Representative I)
About The Position
The Teller (Member Service Representative I) provides World Class service to credit union Members by accurately completing transactions and providing account information. The role safeguards credit union and Member assets by following cash control guidelines and delivers face-to-face assistance with Member account needs. The Teller provides consultative information about credit union products and services or refers Members to the appropriate team member, processes transactions efficiently and accurately, and contributes to departmental goals by handling high transaction volume with urgency. Team members must comply with applicable regulatory requirements and assigned training, including BSA regulations relevant to their duties. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Less than 1 year of prior related experience required.
- Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately complete Member transactions and provide account information.
- Follow cash control guidelines to safeguard credit union and Member assets.
- Provide face-to-face service to Members requesting account assistance.
- Offer consultative assistance regarding credit union products and services or refer Members to the appropriate team member to assess needs and address concerns.
- Process Member transactions efficiently and accurately with personal care.
- Contribute to departmental goals by processing high volume with a sense of urgency.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and assigned training, including applicable BSA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
