About The Position

UW Credit Union is hiring a bilingual, full-time Teller for its Sun Prairie branch. The Teller is an essential member of the branch team, accurately handling member transactions and identifying opportunities to recommend products and services that align with members’ financial goals. The role builds strong, trustworthy relationships through meaningful member interactions and excellent customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
Team player who can confidently step in where and when needed.
Ability to work in an autonomous environment.
Spanish bilingual ability is required.
Valid work authorization to work for UW Credit Union on the date of hire; UWCU does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for employment authorization.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist members at the Sun Prairie branch, representing UW Credit Union.
Strive to meet performance goals in line with the Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
Maintain a good understanding of UW Credit Union products and services.
Handle member requests at the Teller line accurately and efficiently.
Follow UW Credit Union Cash Management policies and procedures.
Investigate potential Teller transaction errors and communicate with affected members.
Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
Look for ways to exceed members’ expectations.
Work with the branch team to address member and branch needs.
