About The Position

UW Credit Union is hiring a bilingual Peak-Time Teller for its Fitchburg branch. This part-time role provides front-facing service to members and supports branch teammates. The teller performs a variety of transactions accurately and enthusiastically, helps members meet their needs, and contributes to positive member experiences. The position requires Spanish bilingual ability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team-oriented approach and confidence stepping in where and when needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.
• Spanish bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-facing member service at the Fitchburg branch.
• Achieve balanced scorecard results in alignment with the Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a high degree of knowledge of UW Credit Union products and services.
• Process member requests accurately and efficiently.
• Follow UW Credit Union Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Research teller transactions when potential errors are identified and communicate with affected members.
• Build rapport, uncover member needs, make recommendations, and submit referrals to deepen member relationships.
• Seek opportunities to exceed member expectations.
