About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Teller for its National Branch Network. In this front-line, customer-focused role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and delivers a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller serves as a primary customer contact and represents the branch through attentive service, care, and attention to detail. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping the Teller understand customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and refers them to bankers for detailed product conversations. Working with branch teammates, the Teller helps keep daily operations running smoothly and provides a consistent customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 1608 Town Center Dr #650, Pflugerville, TX 78660, and the schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to provide a positive, reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as required.
