About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this front-line, customer-focused role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions and delivering a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers serve as a primary point of contact, represent the branch through strong service and attention to detail, learn about customers’ needs, and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. They identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with a banker for more detailed product conversations. The role works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. It offers exposure to retail banking and a starting point for potential career growth, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 9390 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. The schedule includes Saturdays. The posting notes a dual-language English/Spanish designation.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as required.
