About The Position

Arkansas Federal Credit Union is seeking a Teller - Float to serve as an advocate and financial resource for members, helping them achieve their financial goals. The role uses a proven methodology to engage members in meaningful conversations, understand their financial needs, and connect them with appropriate products and services.

The employee will float among branch locations between Fort Smith and Van Buren, with Fort Smith as the home branch. Mileage reimbursement is included. The position involves building positive relationships and member trust, managing teller transactions, understanding credit union products and services, and making referrals to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 months of related customer service experience.
• Knowledge of financial industry models and products.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, conversational, and trustworthy demeanor.
• Technological proficiency.
• Passion for and sincere concern for others.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with members and earn their trust to retain long-term connections.
• Efficiently manage teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
• Understand Arkansas Federal products and services to enhance the member experience.
• Refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.
• Float to various branch locations between Fort Smith and Van Buren, with Fort Smith as the home branch.
