About The Position

Arkansas Federal Credit Union is hiring a Teller - Float to serve as an advocate and financial expert who helps members achieve their financial goals. The position floats among branch locations between Fort Smith and Van Buren, with Fort Smith as the home branch; mileage reimbursement is included. The teller uses a proven methodology to engage members in meaningful conversations, understand their financial needs, and connect them with appropriate products and services. The role also builds member relationships, manages teller transactions, and refers members and nonmembers to financial service representatives.

Requirements

Knowledgeable of financial industry models and products.
At least 7 months of related customer service experience.
At least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and earn member trust to retain long-term connections.
Efficiently manage teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Understand Arkansas Federal products and services to enhance the member experience.
Refer members and nonmembers to Financial Service Representatives and Senior Financial Service Representatives.
Float to various branch locations between Fort Smith and Van Buren.
