About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Hayden Lake, Idaho. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions and provides a welcoming, reliable experience while representing the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills, learns about customers’ needs, and introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with a banker for detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo provides training, coaching, and a team-based culture, with exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth and mobility.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options such as digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, actively listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and remediate issues appropriately.
Work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
