About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Lake Wales, Florida. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through attentive service, accuracy, and care. The role builds foundational banking skills through learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with bankers for detailed product conversations. They work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is located at 149 E Stuart Ave, Lake Wales, FL 33853. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships and listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
