About The Position

Unify Energy Solutions is seeking a Building Automation Technical Trainer to help develop employees and customers through hands-on technical instruction, mentorship, and training-program development. The role is intended for an experienced building automation or HVAC controls professional who wants to transition from field work into training; formal teaching experience and a college degree are not required. The trainer will design and deliver instruction on building automation fundamentals, HVAC systems, Direct Digital Controls (DDC), networking, BAS hardware and software, and troubleshooting. The role also develops coursework on BACnet, third-party integration, and interoperability, and builds expertise in Reliable Controls products, including WebView, RC-Studio, and RC-Tool. The trainer will create learning materials and practical lab environments, collaborate across technical teams to keep training current, and coach technicians in a supportive learning environment. This is described as a stable, office-based weekday role with less exposure to the physical demands of daily field service and construction. The position is with Unify Energy Solutions, a Houston-based building automation and energy management company.
