Technical Program Manager, Growth

OnePay
•$150,000 - $180,000•Remote

About The Position

OnePay is hiring a Technical Program Manager to own its growth roadmap and coordinate the systems, teams, testing, and data flows involved in growth launches. The role works day to day with MarTech and growth engineers to keep launches moving, ensure changes are properly tested, and maintain trustworthy measurement across the app, website, customer data platform, ad platforms, mobile measurement partners, and data warehouse. This role is remote-friendly in the US and is part of a fast-moving, remote-first team.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of technical program management experience supporting growth, performance marketing, MarTech, or data teams.
  • Hands-on experience with a customer data platform, including connecting it to multiple ad platforms, mapping and filtering events, and syncing audiences with consent rules applied.
  • Ability to read tracking plans and destination configurations and identify potential launch issues.
  • Experience with a mobile measurement partner and understanding of attribution concepts including click IDs, ATT, SKAdNetwork, view-through versus click-through, and platform-reported versus first-party conversions.
  • Experience debugging attribution discrepancies and working directly with measurement vendors.
  • Experience testing and performing QA with engineers on tracking or integration launches, including test plans, staging checks, debug tools, test devices, and regression checks after SDK or release changes.
  • Ability to write SQL and retrieve data independently.
  • Track record of running programs across engineering, design, data, and marketing, with clear specifications, status updates, and written decision records.
  • Good judgment in prioritization, comfort saying no, and ability to work with ambiguity and asynchronously on a remote-first team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a consumer fintech company or another regulated company.
  • Experience with reverse ETL into paid media, including conversion APIs, offline conversions, and audience uploads, and keeping it healthy by monitoring match rates, deduplication, delays, and dropped events.
  • Ability to read and write simple JavaScript or Liquid scripts, such as to transform an event payload or build a template.
  • Experience with a cloud data warehouse.
  • Working understanding of marketing privacy rules, including consent, CCPA and similar state laws, GLBA, and limits on sharing customer data with ad platforms, with good judgment about when to involve Legal.

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth roadmap and turn requests from marketing, paid media, and product into scoped tickets with clear owners and dates.
  • Keep the roadmap, runbooks, and data flow documentation current, and automate repetitive work using scripts or AI tools.
  • Lead testing and QA with MarTech and growth engineers by writing test plans, checking changes in staging and on test devices, and confirming results after launch.
  • Manage customer data platform destinations, audience syncs, reverse ETL, and server-side events that feed paid media.
  • Monitor dropped events, low match rates, and schema drift, and write or modify simple scripts when configuration alone is insufficient.
  • Own relationships with mobile measurement partners, debug attribution issues, maintain SDK and ad network integrations, and handle support escalations, renewals, and roadmap requests.
  • Maintain consistent tracking specifications across the app, website, customer data platform, and web analytics, and investigate discrepancies between data sources.
  • Run SDK upgrades, attribution migrations, and new vendor onboarding from evaluation through cutover, including a rollback plan.
  • Support paid and acquisition work across search, social, app-install networks, app store search ads, and affiliates, including click ID plumbing, exclusion lists, and test setup.
  • Involve Privacy and Legal early so consent, data-sharing limits, and data subject requests are addressed in launch plans.
