Technical Product Marketing Manager

Wisdom AISan Mateo, CA

About The Position

We are WisdomAI, a company focused on helping people gain clarity from complexity through AI-powered analytics. Our platform provides insights with explanations, enabling teams to make faster, more confident decisions. We are trusted by companies like Cisco, Patreon, and Rubrik. This role is for a Technical Product Marketing Manager who can bridge the gap between technical understanding and compelling communication. You will work with data engineering teams, understand their processes, and translate this into messaging, demos, and content that resonates with analytics leaders and data teams. This is a hands-on, technical role requiring deep product knowledge and understanding of the surrounding technology stack, including warehouses, semantic layers, BI tools, and agentic AI. You will be responsible for product launches, website content, technical enablement, campaigns, and competitive strategy. As a fast-moving Series A company, we need a collaborative, low-ego, high-agency team player passionate about working across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in Product Marketing, Technical Product Marketing, or an adjacent technical GTM role (Solutions Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Technical Evangelism) in Data, Analytics, BI, or AI software.
  • Experience with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, AWS, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Omni, dbt, or similar.
  • Genuine technical fluency, including the ability to write SQL, reason about data models and semantic layers, read reference architectures, and converse with data engineers.
  • Hands-on ability to build and run demos and technical content independently.
  • Working understanding of LLM- and agent-based systems, including their evaluation for accuracy, trust, and governance in enterprise data contexts.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex AI and data concepts into clear, concise messaging.
  • A portfolio of GTM assets, including pitch decks, competitive teardowns, launch plans, demo narratives, and technical content for various buyer levels.
  • Experience partnering with product and sales teams in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong research skills, including customer interviews, workflow mapping, persona creation, and competitive analysis.
  • A bias for clarity, speed, and narrative excellence.
  • Low ego and high agency.
  • Passion for collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to specialize further as the team grows.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve WisdomAI's core messaging, focusing on data team workflows and technical realities rather than just features.
  • Translate product functionality (context engineering, semantic modeling, query generation, agent reasoning, governance, deployment) into value propositions for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent messaging hierarchy across product, sales, and marketing.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research with technical users (data engineers, analytics engineers, BI owners, platform architects) to understand workflows, pain points, and decision criteria.
  • Build and maintain personas and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) definitions for various technical buyer roles.
  • Serve as the internal expert on how technical buyers evaluate, pilot, and adopt solutions.
  • Own end-to-end product launches for major features, capabilities, and platform releases, ensuring technical credibility through architecture explainers, detailed feature information, demo flows, and reference use cases.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to execute multi-channel launch programs.
  • Build and maintain video demo assets, sample datasets, and reference scenarios showcasing the product's capabilities with realistic data.
  • Produce technical content such as solution briefs, architecture and integration explainers, benchmark write-ups, technical blogs, and video walkthroughs.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to transform repeatable Proof of Concept (POC) patterns into reusable assets.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence on legacy BI, modern BI, warehouse-native AI, and AI analytics startups, developing 'Why Wisdom vs. X' narratives based on architecture, workflow, and outcomes.
  • Enable Sales, SE, and Product teams with competitive insights that withstand technical scrutiny.
  • Develop sales and go-to-market enablement materials, including pitch decks, playbooks, objection handling guides, technical FAQs, and customer stories.
  • Equip Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success with the necessary messaging, proof points, and demo narratives for technical evaluations.
  • Develop full-funnel content demonstrating how WisdomAI improves the entire workflow from Analytics to ROI.
  • Collaborate with leadership to articulate the company's category point of view and cover broader data and analytics audience interests.
  • Act as a liaison between Product, Engineering, Sales, Success, and Marketing, bringing the technical customer's voice into product strategy and ensuring feedback flows across the company.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape the next era of enterprise analytics.
  • Opportunity to build a category-defining narrative at a breakout AI company.
