About The Position

Félix is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and results for its Payouts Platform, a shared service that enables products to send money through bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The role focuses on making payouts fast, reliable, and low-cost across the products and markets Félix serves. The Product Manager will develop a self-serve platform that product teams can adopt quickly, guide investment in new markets and payout rails, and lead platform work for launches in collaboration with FX, Compliance, and Treasury. The role also shapes payout-partner requirements and routing decisions, improves payout success rates, speed, and cost, reduces manual handling of failed or returned payouts, and gives product teams real-time payout visibility. The position works closely with engineering, which owns delivery, as well as product, operations, compliance, treasury, and business development teams. It includes defining service commitments and reporting on payout success, speed, and cost.

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
Experience owning a product whose primary customers were other teams or developers.
Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner service-level agreements.
Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production with engineering and commercial teams.
Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.
Equivalent competencies in the listed areas will also be considered.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Latin American payout rails, such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

Define the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
Build payouts as a shared, self-serve capability that product teams can adopt without rebuilding payout functionality.
Determine which markets and payout rails to invest in, including instant payments, wallets, cash networks, and crypto rails.
Lead the platform side of launches with FX, Compliance, and Treasury, and help shorten time to launch.
Define payout-partner requirements, compare partner performance, and decide which partners to integrate or route more volume to.
Support decisions about new partner capabilities with Business Development, which owns commercial relationships.
Define routing and validation strategies to improve payout success rates and speed while reducing cost per payout.
Prioritize improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts in partnership with Operations and the Ops Platform.
Provide product teams with real-time visibility into payouts.
Coordinate with Compliance, Treasury, and product teams to ensure payouts are compliant, funded, and supportable.
Define reliability and performance commitments for product teams and prioritize work with the engineering team to meet them.
Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
