About The Position

Félix is building an AI-powered financial companion for Latinos in the US, beginning with cross-border remittances and expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services. The company describes itself as a hyper-growth Series C business focused on improving access to financial services for an underserved community. The Technical Product Manager for Payouts Platform owns the vision, roadmap, and results for the shared service Félix products use to send money to destinations across bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The role aims to make payouts fast, reliable, and low-cost across products and markets. It involves expanding markets and payment rails, guiding partner and routing strategy, improving payout performance, reducing manual operations, and coordinating with product, engineering, Compliance, Treasury, Operations, and Business Development. The engineering team owns delivery; the product manager defines service commitments and prioritizes work to meet them.

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
Experience owning a platform or API product whose primary customers were other teams or developers.
Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner SLAs.
Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation through production in partnership with engineering and commercial teams.
Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.
Equivalent competencies may be considered in place of the listed requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Latin American payment rails, such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

Define the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
Make payouts a shared, self-service capability that product teams can adopt quickly.
Determine which markets and payout rails to invest in, including instant payments, wallets, cash networks, and crypto rails.
Lead the platform side of launches with FX, Compliance, and Treasury, and reduce time to launch.
Define payout partner requirements, compare partner performance, and decide which partners to integrate or route more volume to.
Build direct connections to major payout providers alongside aggregator partners.
Make partner decisions for new capabilities with the Business Development team, which owns commercial relationships.
Define routing and validation strategies to improve payout success rates and speed while reducing cost per payout.
Prioritize improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts, working with Operations and the Ops Platform.
Provide product teams real-time visibility into payouts.
Coordinate with Compliance on screening, Treasury on liquidity, and product teams on the experiences built on the platform.
Define reliability and performance service commitments for product teams and prioritize work to meet them with engineering.
Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
