About The Position

Félix is building an AI-powered financial companion for Latinos in the US, starting with remittances and expanding into other financial services. The Technical Product Manager for Payouts Platform owns the vision, roadmap, and results for the shared service that sends money across bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The goal is to make payouts fast, reliable, and low-cost across the products and markets Félix serves. The role develops a reusable, self-serve payout capability for product teams; identifies markets, rails, and partners for investment; and leads the platform side of launches with FX, Compliance, and Treasury. It defines partner requirements and routing strategy, improves payout success rates, speed, and cost, reduces manual handling of failed and returned payments, and provides product teams with real-time payout visibility. The role also coordinates with Compliance, Treasury, Operations, and product teams to ensure payouts are compliant, funded, and supportable; defines service commitments with engineering; and reports on payout success, speed, and cost. Engineering owns delivery.

Requirements

At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
Experience owning a platform or API product whose primary customers were other teams or developers.
Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner SLAs.
Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.
Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.
Equivalent competencies in the listed areas will also be considered.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Latin American payment rails such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

Set the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
Develop payouts as a shared, self-serve capability that product teams can adopt without building payout functionality from scratch.
Choose markets and payment rails for expansion across Latin America and beyond, including instant payments, wallets, cash networks, and crypto rails.
Lead the platform side of launches with FX, Compliance, and Treasury, and shorten time to go live.
Define payout partner requirements, compare partner performance, and decide which partners to integrate or route more volume to.
Build direct connections to major payout providers alongside aggregator partners.
Make partner decisions for new capabilities with the Business Development team, which owns commercial relationships.
Define routing and validation strategies to improve payout success rates and speed while lowering cost per payout.
Prioritize improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts, working with Operations and the Ops Platform.
Give product teams real-time visibility into every payout.
Coordinate with Compliance on screening, Treasury on liquidity, and product teams on the experiences built on the platform.
Define reliability and performance commitments for product teams and prioritize work with the engineering team to meet them.
Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
