About The Position

Félix is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the vision, roadmap, and results for its Payouts Platform, the shared service that enables Félix products to send money through bank transfers, instant payment rails, wallets, cards, cash networks, and crypto rails. The role focuses on making payouts fast, reliable, and low-cost across the markets Félix serves. The Product Manager will develop the platform as a shared, self-serve capability that product teams can adopt quickly, helping Félix launch products without rebuilding payout functionality. The role will guide market and rail expansion, partner strategy, routing and validation, operational automation, payout visibility, and service commitments. It works closely with Engineering, Compliance, Treasury, Operations, Product, and Business Development; Engineering owns delivery, while Business Development owns commercial relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years working on payments, payouts, or money movement products.
  • Experience owning a product whose main customers were other teams or developers.
  • Understanding of payout rails and partners, including settlement timing, returns, failure modes, and partner SLAs.
  • Track record of taking third-party integrations from evaluation to production with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Comfort with SQL and defining and tracking reliability and cost metrics.
  • Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to engineers, operations teams, and executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Latin American payout rails, such as SPEI, PIX, or ACH-style bank transfers.
  • Experience with crypto or stablecoin rails for payouts or settlement.
  • Working knowledge of payments compliance, such as sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Set the Payouts Platform vision and roadmap, balancing new capabilities, reliability, and cost.
  • Build a shared, self-serve payout capability that product teams can adopt quickly.

  • Define payout partner requirements, compare partner performance, and determine which partners to integrate or route more volume to, including direct provider connections and aggregator partners.
  • Make partner decisions for new capabilities alongside Business Development.
  • Define routing and validation strategies to improve payout success rates and speed while lowering cost per payout.
  • Prioritize improvements that reduce manual handling of failed and returned payouts, working with Operations and the Ops Platform.
  • Provide product teams with real-time visibility into every payout.
  • Coordinate with Compliance on screening, Treasury on liquidity, and product teams on the experience built on the platform.
  • Define reliability and performance commitments for product teams and prioritize work with Engineering to meet them.
  • Report on payout success, speed, and cost.
