About The Position

Félix is hiring a hands-on Technical Product Manager to own the technical foundations of its Wallet & Card product. The wallet is an account and debit card embedded in WhatsApp and built on stablecoin infrastructure. The role covers wallet infrastructure, money-in and money-out rails, and the technical operation of a live debit card program. The goal is to keep wallet balances and transactions correct, make card use safe and reliable, maximize acceptance, and deliver seamless experiences for users. The Product Manager will lead a pod and partner with leadership, engineering, Wallet Experience and Rewards Product Managers, Fraud, Finance, and infrastructure, issuing, and network vendors. The role is expected to shape technical decisions, work directly with engineers, investigate production issues, own relevant roadmaps and metrics, and coordinate partners and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management or adjacent experience, with a strong focus on payments infrastructure or card issuing.
  • Hands-on builder with ownership experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Expertise in funding and payout rails, processors, banking partners, settlement, automated reconciliation, and rail economics.
  • Experience evaluating infrastructure options with engineering leadership, making build-versus-partner decisions, and owning technical trade-offs.
  • Track record owning payment KPIs such as authorization and acceptance rates, fraud loss ratios, funding success rates, and unit cost, and using data to optimize systems.
  • Technical ability to read API documentation, inspect logs, run SQL queries independently, and design resilience mechanisms such as timeouts, retries, and fallback routes.
  • Direct experience managing day-to-day relationships with issuers, processors, card networks, sponsor banks, or web3/fiat infrastructure partners.
  • Strong communication skills to align engineering, fraud, finance, compliance, and executive leadership on technical roadmaps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Equivalent competencies in the listed areas will also be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with stablecoin-funded card programs or stablecoin on-ramps and off-ramps, such as Circle, Bridge, Zero Hash, or MoonPay.
  • In-depth knowledge of card issuing lifecycle, including authorization and settlement flows, decline analysis, tokenization, disputes and chargebacks, and Visa or Mastercard network rules.
  • Hands-on exposure to digital wallets, blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or non-custodial wallet infrastructure.
  • Direct experience managing a card network program or sponsor bank relationship.
  • Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Define wallet infrastructure with engineering, including custody and key management, stablecoin and settlement chains, ledger integration, automated reconciliation, and infrastructure partners.
  • Oversee the technical design, management, and maintenance of funding and withdrawal rails; monitor integration health, transaction success, settlement timing, and reconciliation.
  • Drive the health and evolution of the debit card program, including authorization flows, decline codes, tokenization and digital wallets, disputes, network rules, and acceptance rates.
  • Work with Fraud on card and funding controls, data pipelines, loss ratios, and false decline rates.
  • Work directly with engineers on APIs, webhooks, on-chain flows, and real-time authorizations; debug production issues, read logs, and query SQL databases.
  • Own card lifecycle flows, including issuance, activation, provisioning, freezing, and replacement, in partnership with the Wallet Experience team.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, banking, payment processor, card issuing, and card network vendors on technical strategy and operational success.
  • Set pod priorities and the wallet infrastructure and rails roadmap, co-own the card roadmap with other Product Managers, and communicate progress and impact to leadership.
  • Drive core performance metrics for the wallet and card.
