About The Position

Ceco Door, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is hiring an entry-level Technical Order Processing Specialist to accurately enter customer orders into the manufacturing system, interpret product specifications, and review technical drawings. The position is performed onsite Monday through Friday at the company’s manufacturing facility in Milan, Tennessee. It offers an opportunity to grow within the department and develop advanced technical skills in order processing.

The role is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime, with an hourly pay range of $19.50–$20.50. The final offer depends on experience, skill level, and other qualifications. Applications are accepted through 12/31/26, subject to the company’s right to modify or discontinue the posting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills, with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in business or management.
• Previous experience or exposure to the door, building materials, or hollow metal industries.
• Geometry and algebra skills.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, internet, and email.
• AutoCAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, from basic stock to complex configured products.
• Communicate with customers to resolve discrepancies and application conflicts.
• Provide technical support to customers and manufacturing teams.
• Calculate lead times and assist with pricing of standard and special products.
• Interpret hardware templates and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Review order forms and prepare orders for processing.
• Negotiate stock issues with customers as they arise.
