Tech Lead - Application Development JAVA N 4C
About The Position
Genpact is hiring a Tech Lead for Application Development in Java to lead a team of Java developers in designing and developing software applications. The role provides technical guidance on Java development best practices and collaborates with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The Tech Lead conducts code reviews, mentors team members, and ensures coding standards are followed; troubleshoots technical issues; and analyzes and optimizes application performance and scalability. The position also involves keeping current with Java technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency. This is a hybrid, day-shift role in the United States. The approximate annual base compensation range is $60,000 to $75,000. Los Angeles, California-based candidates are not eligible. The actual offer depends on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, and internal equity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master’s degree in Software Engineering.
- Oracle Certified Java Associate certification.
- Skills in Agile Methodology, Apache Kafka, Client Relations, Collaboration Tools, Design Thinking, Executive Presence, Inclusion, People Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, Risk Management, and Storytelling.
- English proficiency at C2 level.
