About The Position

Tomlinson’s Feed is hiring a part-time Team Member for its South Congress location. The role focuses on helping guests find appropriate nutrition and supplies for their pets while providing high levels of customer service and actively selling the company’s core products. Team Members spend most of their shift on the sales floor, maintain the store’s appearance and inspection readiness, support store leadership initiatives, and communicate with leadership about operations and needs. The position also assists with deliveries as needed.

Requirements

Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Be able to remain on your feet for the majority of the shift.
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a clean driving record.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Have up-to-date car registration.
Have a smartphone capable of using the delivery app for navigation.

Responsibilities

Maintain a constant presence on the sales floor and help guests.
Actively sell Tomlinson’s core products and work toward sales goals.
Build rapport with guests and provide service that exceeds their expectations.
Unload shipments and rotate stock.
Help maintain an inspection-ready store.
Support and advocate for company and store leadership initiatives.
Represent the company’s reputation, culture, and vision while building relationships through attentive service and pet-focused selling.
Maintain the store in accordance with Tomlinson’s Brand Standards, keeping it well lit, well stocked, clean, clutter-free, warm, and welcoming.
Attend required store meetings and trainings.
Communicate with store leadership about store operations and needs.
Assist with deliveries as needed.
