About The Position

Tomlinson’s Feed is hiring a part-time Team Member for its Leander pet supplies store. The role focuses on helping guests find appropriate products for their pets, actively selling core products and meeting sales goals, and maintaining a welcoming, clean, well-stocked store that meets Tomlinson’s Brand Standards. Team Members spend most of their shifts on the sales floor, support store operations and leadership initiatives, and communicate with store leadership about operational needs. The work is active and includes lifting and carrying shipments and guest purchases.

Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly to stock the store and carry purchases for guests.
• Be on your feet for the majority of the shift.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent presence on the sales floor and help guests.
• Actively sell Tomlinson’s core products and work toward sales goals.
• Build rapport with guests and provide service that exceeds their expectations.
• Unload shipments, rotate stock, and help keep the store inspection-ready.
• Support and advocate for company and store leadership initiatives.
• Represent the company’s reputation, culture, and vision while building guest relationships through service and pet-focused selling.
• Maintain the store’s appearance in accordance with Tomlinson’s Brand Standards, keeping it well lit, well stocked, clean, clutter-free, warm, and welcoming.
• Maintain an inspection-ready store, especially on scheduled inspection dates.
• Communicate with store leadership about store operations and needs.
• Attend required store meetings and trainings.

Benefits

• Starting wage of $15 per hour.
