About The Position

Tomlinson’s Feed is hiring a full-time Team Member for its South Lamar pet supplies store. The role focuses on helping guests find appropriate nutrition and supplies for their pets while delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations. Team Members spend most of their shift on the sales floor, selling core products, working toward sales goals, maintaining store presentation and readiness, and communicating with store leadership. The starting wage is $15 per hour, with eligibility for performance-based increases.

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to be on their feet for the majority of the shift.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant presence on the sales floor and help guests.
• Actively sell Tomlinson’s core products and work toward sales goals.
• Build rapport with guests and provide service that exceeds their expectations.
• Unload shipments, rotate stock, and help keep the store inspection-ready.
• Support and advocate for company and store leadership initiatives.
• Represent the company’s reputation, culture, and vision while building relationships through attentive, pet-focused selling.
• Maintain the store in accordance with Tomlinson’s Brand Standards, keeping it well lit, well stocked, clean, clutter-free, warm, and welcoming.
• Keep the store inspection-ready, particularly on scheduled inspection dates.
• Communicate with store leadership about store operations and needs.
• Attend required store meetings and trainings.
• Lift and carry merchandise for stocking and guest carry-outs.
