About The Position

Regal Fresno Riverpark 19 is hiring a part-time Team Member whose primary responsibility is to provide exceptional service to guests. Depending on theatre needs and employee availability, team members may be assigned to the Concession Stand or as an Usher. The position requires regular and consistent attendance, handling emergency situations when called upon, general cleaning, and compliance with the company dress code. Nights and weekends are required. Concession duties include operating the POS system and handling payments and concession inventory accurately; promoting the Regal Crown Club; operating, preparing, and cleaning concession equipment; and upselling. Team members must follow applicable food-safety laws and break requirements. Where alcohol is sold and serving alcohol is part of the assignment, team members must meet legal age requirements and maintain required certification and training. Team members must also read training materials covering topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination. Usher duties include tearing and collecting tickets, directing patrons, inspecting packages when applicable, managing crowds, helping guests find seats, enforcing the MPAA rating system, and conducting auditorium inspections for picture and sound quality, content theft, and safety. Ushers report problems or unusual situations to management, may perform in-auditorium concession sales, clean auditoriums and other theatre areas, monitor vending equipment, and assist with assigned opening and closing duties. Successful candidates must complete or be progressing toward completion of the cast certification program. The role calls for clear communication and public-speaking skills, effective listening, accurate calculations, problem-solving and reasoning, and the ability to set goals, manage time, and prioritize. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, and talk or hear; occasionally to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and may occasionally need to lift up to 60 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
