About The Position

MGC Roofing & Construction, Inc. is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for its Commercial Roofing Service Department in Central Florida. No roofing experience is required; hands-on training is provided for motivated candidates who want to learn a skilled trade and grow with the company. The role involves working alongside experienced roofing technicians on commercial roof repairs and maintenance. Starting pay is $19.00+ per hour, based on experience. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment physical.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in Florida weather.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment physical.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roof repairs and leak detection.
• Help with preventative roof maintenance.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
• Keep service trucks and job sites clean and organized.
• Learn to safely operate roofing tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and instructions from Lead Technicians.
