About The Position
New Horizons is hiring a caregiver to provide companionship and practical support to clients in their homes. No healthcare or caregiving experience is required; the employer provides paid training, ongoing support, and opportunities to develop skills. Caregivers are matched with clients based on preferences and comfort level, and can choose when to work, with full-time or variable-hour options. Scheduling support is available 24/7.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Enjoy helping others and want meaningful, flexible work.
- Have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
- Have reliable transportation and be able to drive during shifts as needed.
- Be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, PSW, DSP, or home care aide (HCA).
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support to clients.
