About The Position

MGC Roofing & Construction, Inc. is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join its Commercial Roofing Service Department in Central Florida. No roofing experience is required; the company provides hands-on training for motivated people interested in learning a skilled trade and growing with the company. Applicants with experience in construction, landscaping, general labor, or roofing are encouraged to apply. The role involves working alongside experienced roofing technicians on commercial roof repairs and maintenance. Starting pay is $19.00 or more per hour, based on experience. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be comfortable working on rooftops and at heights.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be willing to work outdoors in Florida weather.
• Be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be able to follow instructions and work well with a team.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment physical.

Nice To Haves

• Roofing or construction experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with roof repairs and leak detection.
• Help with preventative roof maintenance.
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
• Keep service trucks and job sites clean and organized.
• Learn to safely operate roofing tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and instructions from Lead Technicians.
