About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The role performs blood and other specimen collections, supports accurate patient and specimen records, processes billing and payments when required, and provides customer service to patients. The position also includes administrative and clerical duties and may require travel to additional sites. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., working four 10-hour days, with rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfort working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
If substituting for work experience, phlebotomy certification or a completed training program must be from an accredited agency.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification, completion of a phlebotomy training program, or six months or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
