About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The role performs skilled specimen collection and provides customer service to patients. The schedule is four 10-hour days, Tuesday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The position may require travel to additional sites when needed. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfort working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification, completion of a phlebotomy training program, or six months or more of experience as a phlebotomist.
When substituting for work experience, phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other purposes.
Enter patient information accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
