About The Position

The Team Member provides friendly, knowledgeable customer service in a pet retail store. The role includes helping customers select products, answering questions about pet care, supporting sales initiatives, and assisting with store operations and inventory. Team Members also care for live animals by feeding, cleaning, handling, and monitoring them in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The position requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment and working a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Physical ability to move and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and help them select products.
• Answer questions about pet care and support sales initiatives.
• Greet customers, collect customer data, and follow standard procedures for cash handling, returns, and coupons.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, maintain displays, and assist with receiving and tracking inventory.
• Help ensure inventory accuracy and product availability, assist with carry-outs, and maintain planogram integrity.
• Feed, clean, handle, and monitor live animals to support their health, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for customers, team members, and animals, following sanitation and safety protocols.
