About The Position

Team Members are classified according to theatre needs and employee availability as variable-hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team Members may work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, and must represent Regal consistently with its mission statement and policies. The role includes regular and consistent attendance, responding to emergency situations when called upon, general cleaning, and compliance with the company dress code. In the Box Office, Team Members operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash drawers, cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discounts; promote premium viewing experiences and the Regal Crown Club; ensure ticket sales comply with the MPAA rating system and company policy; and respond to guest calls and questions. In Concessions, Team Members operate the point-of-sale system, accurately handle payments and concession inventory, promote the Regal Crown Club, and operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment. They suggest additional purchases, follow food-safety laws and break requirements, and maintain required alcohol certifications and training where applicable. Employees assigned to alcohol sales or service must meet the applicable legal age requirement. They must also read and understand training materials on topics including sexual harassment and discrimination. Ushers tear and collect tickets, direct patrons, inspect packages when applicable, manage crowds, assist guests with seating, enforce the MPAA rating system, and inspect auditoriums for picture and sound quality, content theft, and safety. They report problems or unusual situations to management, perform auxiliary concession sales when directed, clean auditoriums and other theatre areas, monitor vending equipment, and assist with assigned opening and closing duties.
