About The Position

The Retail Team Member helps create a welcoming shopping experience by assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining an organized sales floor. The role involves staying active, working collaboratively with teammates, and sharing information about the company’s charity partners and mission. No retail experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The position supports the company’s mission to positively impact the environment and communities, reduce waste, provide value to customers, support local charities, and create jobs.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years old.
Enjoy helping people and providing excellent customer service.
Be friendly, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Have strong communication skills and enjoy working with others.
Be comfortable operating a cash register and handling money.
Be comfortable being on your feet throughout the day and staying active.
Be able to lift merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
Help shoppers find merchandise throughout the store.
Operate the cash register and accurately handle customer transactions.
Stock, organize, and display merchandise on the sales floor.
Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
Answer questions about merchandise, discounts, and promotions.
Assist with moving merchandise, racks, and carts throughout the store.
Work with the team to meet sales and productivity goals.
Share information about charity partners and the company mission with customers.
Help create a positive shopping experience for customers.
