About The Position

As a Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for every customer. The role is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store and involves preparing food, assisting customers, maintaining the store, and supporting the team. Team Members are expected to deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors, move between tasks as needed, and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with starting pay of $14.00–$16.00 per hour and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
• Have schedule flexibility; stores operate 24/7, and work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain a Food Handler Permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Be able to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between roles and tasks, including engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and keep food displays clean and ready for customer use.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and support the team wherever needed.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
