About The Position

At Maverik, Retail Team Members help create an exceptional experience for customers. The role is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store and involves preparing fresh food, assisting customers, maintaining the store, and supporting the team. Team Members deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors, transition between tasks, keep supplies stocked and food displays clean and enticing, and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. The position offers career and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $13.58–$15.58 per hour. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
• Have a flexible schedule; stores operate 24/7, and shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain a food handler permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Meet the physical requirements of frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and potentially lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between roles, engage customers, stock supplies, and maintain appealing food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and assist wherever needed.
