About The Position

At Maverik, Retail Team Members help create an exceptional experience for customers. The role is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store and includes preparing fresh food, assisting customers, keeping the store clean and well-stocked, and supporting the team as needed. Team Members are expected to deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment. The position offers career and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $15.54 to $17.54 per hour. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
• Have a flexible schedule; stores operate 24/7, and work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Obtain a food handler permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Meet the physical requirements of frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between roles, engage customers, stock supplies, and maintain appealing food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and assist wherever needed.
