About The Position

As a Team Leader - Keyholder, you support store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. You motivate the team to deliver an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. You serve as a brand ambassador by consistently modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values.

This part-time role starts at $19.00 per hour. The position is incentive eligible based on achievement of company and store metrics. The listed base pay range is $15.81–$23.68, with individual pay depending on work location; the posted range excludes bonuses, equity, or other incentives, if applicable. The company intends to fill the opening within 30 days of the original posting date, and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.; ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.
• Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, conduct community and customer outreach, promote campaigns, increase brand awareness, and build lasting customer relationships.
• Motivate and inspire the team by channeling Vera Bradley’s core values.
• Recommend products suited to customers’ needs and drive store results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and innovate daily operational procedures, support the team in maintaining visual standards, and keep the store organized and inviting.
• Be reliable, uphold Vera Bradley’s core values, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support store opening, closing, and peak business needs.
