About The Position

As a Team Leader - Keyholder, you support store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. You motivate the team to deliver an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. You serve as a brand ambassador by modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values.

The role supports sales, customer outreach, merchandising, and store operations. It is a part-time position with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. The posted base pay range is $15.81–$23.68, with individual pay dependent on work location; the range excludes bonuses, equity, and other incentives, if applicable.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk and stand constantly, and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs.; occasional lifting of up to 55 lbs.; and ability to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, and promote campaigns that build brand awareness and customer relationships.
• Execute community and customer outreach efforts.
• Motivate and inspire the team by modeling Vera Bradley’s core values.
• Recommend products suited to customers’ needs and drive results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures.
• Support the team in maintaining visual standards and keep the store organized and inviting.
• Uphold company policies and procedures and demonstrate reliability and integrity.
• Support store opening, closing, and peak business needs.
