About The Position

As a Team Leader - Keyholder, you support store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. You motivate the team to provide an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. You serve as a brand ambassador by consistently modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values.

This role focuses on driving sales, leading and inspiring people, recommending products that meet customers’ needs, and supporting store merchandising and operations. You help ensure the store remains organized, inviting, and aligned with visual standards. The position is incentive eligible based on achievement of company and store metrics. The posted base pay range is $13.51–$20.24 per hour, with a stated starting pay of $17.00 USD; individual pay depends on work location.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk and stand constantly; bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs.; occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.; and push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, and execute community and customer outreach efforts.
• Promote campaigns to increase brand awareness and build lasting customer relationships.
• Motivate and inspire the team using Vera Bradley’s core values.
• Recommend products suited to each customer’s needs and drive results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
• Execute and improve daily operational procedures.
• Support the team in maintaining visual standards and keeping the store organized and inviting.
• Model reliability and integrity, uphold Vera Bradley’s core values, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support store opening, closing, and peak business needs.
