About The Position

The Team Lead at Everbrook Academy of Otsego promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction makes up at least 50% of the weekly schedule. The Team Lead communicates and builds relationships with families, and is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow Teachers while creating interactive learning experiences for preschool children. In the absence of the Director or Assistant Director, the Team Lead takes on their duties, including opening and closing the school. The role ensures children receive daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.

• Ensure the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
