About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Minnetonka is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create an engaging, safe, and organized classroom where children can learn and grow. The role includes following licensing guidelines and company standards to provide daily care, engaging children in classroom activities, and developing skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children. The Assistant Teacher also communicates with families and completes training in childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
