About The Position

The Assistant Teacher helps provide daily care and learning experiences for children at Everbrook Academy of Minnetonka. The role supports children's development as lifelong learners in a fun, interactive classroom and includes training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position pays $19.19–$20.94 per hour, based on position, education, and experience. Pay is offered bi-weekly, with a Daily Pay option. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children accurately and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
