About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Savage is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves supporting children’s daily care, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and engaging with children in indoor and outdoor activities. The Assistant Teacher will develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children and participate in indoor and outdoor physical activities.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

• Hourly pay of $17.69–$18.38, based on position, education, and experience.
