About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Otsego is hiring Lead Teachers to inspire children to become lifelong learners. Lead Teachers create interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers, support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, manage classrooms and implement curriculum, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families. They must follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. The role requires engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
