About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Otsego is hiring Lead Toddler/Preschool Teachers to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher develops interactive learning experiences, supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and maintains knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards. The role also involves mentoring fellow teachers and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote each child’s achievement and support the center’s success.

The position is with Learning Care Group, Inc., a childcare provider offering early childhood education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Its curriculum is research-based and intended to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards.
