About The Position

Smoothie King is seeking a purpose-driven Team Captain to serve as an ambassador of the brand. The Team Captain helps guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them in selecting smoothies and retail products that support a healthy, active lifestyle. The role also provides guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store. The successful candidate is passionate about the brand and willing to take on new challenges. The position emphasizes an exceptional guest experience, teamwork, and embodying Smoothie King’s culture, values, vision, and mission. Team Captains must maintain regular and punctual attendance and be able to work the hours needed to run the store effectively, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with guests, team members, and the community.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort working with guests and team members.
Ability to work independently.
Regular and punctual attendance.
Availability to work the hours needed to run the store effectively, potentially including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional guest experience throughout each visit.
Put guests first, connect with them, and discover and respond to their needs.
Assist guests in selecting smoothies and retail products to support their fitness and nutrition goals.
Provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store.
Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge in support of Smoothie King’s culture, values, and mission.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Work the hours needed to run the store effectively, potentially including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work independently as a self-starter.
Maintain attention to detail, including cleanliness and other finishing touches.
Promote Smoothie King’s culture, values, vision, and mission.
Follow the Smoothie King Handbook and other Smoothie King policies.
