About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Corporate Finance course (ADM3350) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves grading assignments and exams, and potentially leading DGDs (Demonstration Groups). The total expected work hours are 84, with a potential increase of 10% to 30% depending on registration. The work must be performed in Ottawa, and candidates will need access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of corporate finance
• Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
• Strong background in finance and/or accounting
• Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.5
• Minimum grade of A- in ADM 3350 or its equivalent
• Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course
• Access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam

Nice To Haves

• Experience with online course delivery
• Experience with online videoconferencing environment (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
• Graduate students in the finance and accounting fields
• Higher grades
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or marker for this course
• Enrolled in Telfer programs
• Previously been markers for ADM 3350 (or equivalent)
