About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the Quantitative Methods in Psychology I course (PSY2106 Section A01) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves supporting the course, which includes weekly laboratories or tutorials offered in person. The TA is expected to be available during the scheduled lab time on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in a graduate program in Psychology.
  • Availability during the scheduled lab time (Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM).
  • Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Ottawa.

Responsibilities

  • Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams.
